Before She Governs went to print, we invited women to explore a preview of the journal and share their honest thoughts. Here’s what stood out to them.
I got to see the sample copies of the She Governs Journal, and honestly? My mind was completely blown! Most journals just give you blank lines and leave you to figure things out. This one gives you a clear mental model based on the three roles we play every single day as Governors.
I am excited about the She Governs journal because I see it as an opportunity to become more intentional about my walk with God and the way I live my everyday life. I believe these practices will help me become more conscious of how I spend my time, build healthy habits, and remain consistent in the areas of my life that truly matter.
What stood out to me the most is the “Dear God” section. In the journey of growth, there are moments when you feel overwhelmed, disappointed, or even experience a relapse. Having a dedicated space to write a letter to God and express yourself in your truest form is truly beautiful.
I love that in its design, you start out with an oath of governance to take charge of your life with your actions and words. Then there is a daily path to track your actions and note what you achieved for the day. There is also a space to bring on an accountability partner to keep you in check.

Whatever your beliefs, its daily rhythm of planning, acting and reflecting is designed to help you live with intention and take responsibility for the life you’re building.
Most journals give you blank pages and leave the rest to you. She Governs gives you a clear daily rhythm. You set your direction each morning, follow through during the day and reflect each evening, with a weekly Council Session to step back and adjust. You always know what to do next.
